Salobreña is a town, considered to be the jewel of the Costa Tropical in Andalucia, Spain . It is located at the very heart of the Costa Tropical , thus, it is close to the most important places of interest in the area.
Located on the coast, Salobreña is an hour s drive away from Malaga airport. It is surrounded by a tropical plain where sugar cane, mangoes, and custard apples are cultivated.

With a population of 10,500 inhabitants, Salobreña is a nice town with a maze of narrow, cobbled street leading up to its old castle. Found in its hidden corners, are little bars that offer refreshing drinks and the all-time favorite tapas. For shopping needs, the bottom of the town houses a commercial center where shops, supermarkets, bank, a civic theater, and a town hall are located. The long beach below the town stretches all the way to the port of Motril.
