The Weather

Being part of Costa Tropical, Salobreña possesses the same outstanding subtropical climate with a mean annual temperature of 18 degrees centigrade. The actual temperature ranges from 14 up to 32 degrees Celsius.

The peaks of the Sierra Nevada effectively shields the coast from the excessive summer hear and winter cold. Average midsummer temperature is around 27 to 28 degrees Celsius, often with a gentle breeze and between October and March, the sunny days have clear blue skies most of the time, and the average temperature ranges from 17 to 18 degrees Celsius. This microclimate is due to the fact that Salobreña is in close proximity to the grand mountains of Spain.
